List of Richest Women in India 2022 – Latest Updated List – Kotak Private Banking and Hurun India launched the third edition of the list of leading wealthy women on July 27, 2022 based on the total wealth of women as on December 31, 2021. According to the list of India’s richest women, HCL Technologies Chairman Roshni Nadar Malhotra is the country’s richest woman for the second consecutive time, with a net worth of Rs 84,330 crore.
Falguni Nair, who came second only to Malhotra in the list of the richest women in India, overtook Biocon chairperson Kiran Mazumdar Shaw to become the richest self-made woman with a wealth of rs. 57,520 crores. Falguni Nair is the founder and CEO of beauty e-commerce platform Nayika.
Only Indian women are on the list of the 100 richest women in India, defined as country-born or brought up, who are actively managing their business or are self-made. Kotak Private Banking Hurun Leading Wealthy Women 2021-22
The list of India’s richest women published by the Hurun Report in collaboration with Kotak Private Banking is the third annual list of India’s wealthiest women entrepreneurs and professional managers. The wealth calculation of the richest women in India’s list is based on a snapshot taken on December 31, 2021.
Compared to the last list of wealthiest women in India, the cut-off for the latest has tripled. Those who entered the list came from four countries and 29 cities. A total of 48 individuals, above 10, are worth Rs. 1,000 crore or more. Pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and consumer goods were areas where a greater number of individuals made it to the list.
