Leap years occur once every 4 years. The earth takes 365 and a quarter days to go around the sun, so every four years, we make up the four quarters by adding one extra day to the year. Whichever year do you have to know about whether it’s a leap year or not? For this, first of all you can divide that year by the number of 4. If there is zero left at the end of the part, that year will be a leap year. If the balance is not zero, that year will not be considered in the leap year. For example :  Divide the number of the year 2020 by 4. On dividing by the number of 4, the quotient comes to 505 and the remainder is zero. In such a situation, the year 2020 will be a leap year. Before 2020, 2004, 2008, 2012 and 2016 were also leap years.
