GATE 2022 Registration, Application Form Pdf, Exam Date, Syllabus – Gate Application Form 2022- IIT, Kharagpur has issued gate 2022 application form in online mode on 2nd September. Candidates can apply for GATE 2022 on Gate.iitkgp.ac.in. The last date for gate 2022 registration is September 24.   • Candidates can now access GATE application form 2022 through GOAPS website.
  • GATE during filling online GATE 2022 application form in the examination registration process photograph, signature, certificate of qualification degree, category certificate (SC/ST) ST/ST PWD) and/or or upload ing of dyslexic certificates, wherever applicable.

  • The passport-sized photograph should be colored in nature.
  • Has to be taken professionally on a white or very light background.
  • Should have been taken after August 1, 2019, and the face of the candidates have to occupy 50% of the area in the photograph.

GATE 2022 Registration- Step-wise Process

Read the step by step procedure to fill and submit the GATE application form 2022:

Step 1 – Gate Registration: Register using the GATE 2022 registration link given in the article for GATE 2022.  Login through Gate Online Application Processing System 2022 (GOAPS) . Enter the following to register for GATE Exam 2022.

  • Candidate’s first, middle name and surname
  • Valid email ID
  • Country of residence
  • Mobile number
  • Password for future login

After entering all the above-mentioned details, Now You need To click on the submit ‘tab’. A system-generated One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to the registered email ID and mobile number Of Candidate. Now Use the OTP to complete the GATE registration 2022. Now A unique enrollment ID will be allotted to the successfully registered candidates.

Step 2 – Login and fill GATE 2022 application form – Enter the following details to fill the application form once the GATE registration is completed:

  • Now You need To Enter Information like the name of candidate, father’s & mother name, date of birth, nativity etc need to be entered.
  • Also Insert Information related to academic qualifications from HSC till graduation need to be entered.
  • You Should Now Mention Your Address as well as the permanent address need to fill.
  • Also Select the GATE paper appearing for.  Note: Change of GATE exam paper is not allowed after submission of the form.
  • Select total of three exams cities from the given list. The first two centres must be from the same zone while the third can be from any GATE 2022 regional zone.

How to Check GATE 2022 Application rStatus?

  • To check the status of the application, candidates have to login to the GATE 2022 registration link using login credentials.

How to apply for GATE 2022?

Can one e-mail address be used to fill multiple application form of GATE 2022?
  • No You Can Not USe Same Email ID For Another Registration.
  • One e-mail address can be used to submit only one GATE application form 2022.
  • Candidates are discouraged to fill multiple application forms using different e-mail addresses.
Net banking account has been debited more than once. How do I get the money back?
  • Any unaccounted or excess money that was received on behalf of GATE 2022 from this account, will automatically be returned (credited) to the same bank account.
  • However, this may take a week or more, after the closure of the application process.
For how many GATE papers can I apply?
  • A candidate is allowed to appear either in ONE or UP TO TWO papers of the GATE 2022 examination. However, a candidate is only allowed to select the second paper from the pre-defined Two Paper Combination list.
If a paper is being held in more than one session, can I appear in any of the sessions of that particular paper?
  • NO. Each candidate will be assigned to ONLY ONE of the multiple sessions of a particular paper.

  • The candidates have to return any scribble pad in their possession at the end of the examination.
  • The virtual scientific calculator will be available on the computer screen.
Am I allowed to enter the examination hall at any time during the examination?
  • NO. Candidate MUST enter to the examination centre as per specified time in Admit card, she/he has to log in to the system 30 minutes prior to the starting time of examination.
In case of permitted delayed entry in the examination hall, will I get extra time corresponding to my delayed entry?
  • NO. The candidate with permitted delayed entry will NOT get any extra time.
Am I allowed to leave the examination hall during the examination?
  • NO. Candidates will NOT be allowed to leave the examination hall for any reason during the examination.
  • Candidates are allowed to leave the examination hall only after the scheduled end of examination.
What items are not permitted to be brought with me inside the examination venue?
  • Mobile phones, physical calculators, wallets, watches of any type, any electronic/communicating devices, books, papers, loose sheets, pen/pencil box/pouch and any other similar items are NOT permitted inside the examination hall.
Can I use a physical calculator during the examination?
  • NO. During the online GATE 2022 examination, all candidates will be provided with a virtual scientific calculator which has to be used to answer the questions.
Will there be any arrangement at the examination centre for the safe keeping of my personal items such as my mobile phone?
  • NO. Such arrangements will not be made at the examination centre.
  • If a candidate brings personal belongings including mobile phones, they have to be kept outside the examination hall at the candidate’s own risk.
  • The GATE officials are not responsible for safe keeping of your personal items.
What happens if a physical calculator (even on an electronic watch) or a mobile phone (even in switched off mode) is found in my possession in the examination hall?
  • Such cases are in violation of GATE 2022 code of conduct and will lead to disqualification of the candidature.
Is there a separate rank/paper for Architecture and Planning (AR) candidates in GATE 2022?
  • NO separate scores and ranks will be provided for candidates attempting either Part B1 (Architecture) or Part B2 (Planning).
