- He has also been declared a global terrorist by the US (USA).
- According to the FBI (FBI) website, the US State Ministry has placed a USA $5 million reward on Sirajuddin Haqqani.
- According to US agencies, he has taken shelter in Pakistan.
- Haqqani is also directly related to al-Qaeda.
- Sirajuddin Haqqani has been wanted in a 2008 terror attack at a hotel in Kabul. Six people, including a US citizen, were killed in the attack. He had also plotted the assassination of the then Afghan President Hamid Karzai.
