New MSP Price List 2022 for Rabi and Kharif Crops – Latest Updated List – Check new MSP price list 2022 released by central government for Rabi crops (Wheat, Barley, Gram, Safflower) and Kharif crops (Paddy, Jowar, Bajra, Ragi, Urad, Moog, Nigerseed, Cotton, Groundnut) for RMS 2022-23. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) has approved the increase in the minimum supports prices (MSP) for all mandated Rabi crops for Rabi Marketing Season (RMS) 2022-23.

The new MSP price list of Rabi crops will be applicable for the crops to be marketed in the MSP 021-22 Rabi Marketing Season (RMS) 2022-23. This new MSP policy will assure a minimum of 50% as margin of profit. Paid Out Costs Included in Rabi Crops MSP 2022-23 : 

These new MSPs for Rabi crops for 2022-23 season will includes all paid out costs which are incurred by farmers on following things.

  • Hired human labour,
  • Bullock labour / machine labour
  • Rent incurred for leased in land
  • Expenses incurred on material inputs like seeds, fertilizers, manures
  • Irrigation charges
  • Depreciation on implements and farm buildings
  • Interest on working capital
  • Diesel / electricity for operation of pump sets
  • Inputed value of family labour

Kharib Crops Price 2022-23 :

  • The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on June 8, 2022, approved the increase in minimum support price (MSP) for all major kharif crops in India for the marketing season 2022-23.The MSP for mango rice crop has been increased from 1940 in 2021-22 to 2040 kharif crop season 2022-23 and for Grade A rice, msp has been increased from 1960 to 2060, msp for hybrid sorghum has been increased from 2738 to 2970, MSP has been increased from 2738 to 2970, MSP.
  • The MSP for bajra has been increased from 2758 to 2990 and that of ragi from 3377 to 3578.

  • The Kharif Crops MSP increase for Marketing Season 2022-23 is in line with the Union Budget 2018-19 announcement of fixing the MSP at least 50 percent over the national weighted average Cost of Production.
