The Nagaland government has launched the Nagaland Scholarship Scheme to enable students pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate or diploma as well as technical level courses to get the financial assistance provided by the government so that there is some stability in their financial instability. After getting scholarship assistance, the student will not have to leave his studies in the middle of studies. Nagaland scholarships have been introduced by the Government authorities of Nagaland to provide some kind of financial assistance and support to students suffering from financial risk, due to which they are not able to pay their admission as well as college fees. Eligibility for Nagaland Scholarship Scheme :

Post Matric ST Scholarship
  • Applicant must possess 10th standard examination
  • Applicants must pursue post matric studies
  • Applicant must belong to Scheduled Tribe of Nagaland
  • An annual income of the applicant’s family should not exceed Rs. 2.50 lakh
  • Applicant must be studying in an institute which has a valid AISHE/UDISE codeApplicant have to clear the examination in one time, repeaters are not eligible
  • Applicants who have study break of more than 2 years are not eligible
  • Applicant must not get any other scholarship scheme
  • Applicant must not be an employee of any government/semi-government.
  • Students pursuing Diploma/Certificate Courses can also apply
Nagaland State Merit Scholarship
  • Applicant must be a native resident of Nagaland or non-native resident who are permanently settled in Nagaland
  • Must Pursuing Post Metric academic qualification Standard Qualifying education 11th Minimum 80% in class 10 12th Minimum 80% in class 11 Degree 1st Year Minimum 80% in class 12 Degree 2nd Year Minimum 70% in Degree 1st Year Degree 3rd Year Minimum 70% in Degree 2nd Year Degree 4th Year Minimum 70% in Degree 3rd Year Degree 5th Year Minimum 70% in Degree 4th Year PG 1st Year Minimum 70% at Bachelor /Graduation level PG 2nd Year Minimum 70% in PG 1st Year
