List of Sainik Schools in Haryana 2022, Online Form, Fees, Admission – Sainik School List in Haryana: Admission allowed for girl students in Sainik Schools for the first time from academic 2021-22 session, 10% seats were reserved for girls in Sainik Schools. These Sainik Schools are jointly run by the state government. & Ministry of Defense. The total number of girls in the 2021-22 session was 320 and there are 335 vacancies for girls for the 2022-23 session. The list of Sainik Schools in Haryana is given below.

There are three Sainik Schools in Haryana, out of which 1 is being constructed by the Haryana government in 2018. And the remaining 2 are running properly. One is Kunjpura Sainik School, Karnal, the other is Rewari Sainik School and the third is Muttonhel, Jhajjar which is under construction.

These Sainik Schools are jointly run by the government. Haryana and Ministry of Defence. Haryana is among the top three states in the country with the highest number of students studying in Sainik Schools working under the aegis of the Ministry of Defence (MoD). Kunjpura Sainik School

It is one of the first five sainik schools established in 1961 in India. Motto of this school is “Siddhim Sannadh” which means ‘ ready to accomplish’. The Cadets of this school are known as ‘Kunjeyans’ or ‘Kunjeans’. School has got a sanctioned strength of 625 cadets from VI to XII. This campus is spread over 276 acres of land.

Rewari Sainik School

This School is inaugurated on 29 Aug, 2008 by the Defence Minister of India A K Antony. The Principal is Col. Soumyabrata Dhar & Vice Principal is Wg. Cdr. Kamal Singh Rawat. The cadets of this school are known as ‘ReWarians’. The Motto of this school is “Gyan Sadbhawna Deshbhakti” which means ‘yes we can’. Total sanctioned strength of this school is 538 students.

Some other payments need to be made initially at the time of new entry. These will be recovered from the cadets only on the basis of demand/issue/requirements and the balance amount will be credited to the cadet’s account.

Eligibility :

  • For admission to Class VI, age of the candidate should be between 10 and 12 years.
  • For admission to Class IX, age of the candidate should be between 13 and 15 years.
  • In addition he should have passed Class VIII from a recognized School at the time of admission.

Reservation :

  • 67% of the seats in each Sainik Schools reserved for candidates from the State/ UT which the Sainik Schools is located and  33% of the seats are reserved for candidates from Other States/ UT.
  • For the purpose of seat allocation, two lists are prepared – ‘List A’ (for candidates from Home State/ UT) and ‘List B’ (for candidates from Other States/ UT).
  • The qualified candidates from the Home State/ UT and other than  Home State/UT are arranged in order of merit as per their category under List A and list B respectively.
  • Firstly, within each list (list ‘A’ and list ‘B’, i.e. under both Home State/ UT and Other States/ UT), 15% of the total seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes: 7.5% seats for Scheduled Tribes and 27% seats for Other Backward Classes- Non Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL).Reservation for OBC-NCL category will be considered as per the central list of Other Backward Classes available on National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC), Government of India website www.ncbc.nic.in, as on the first day of the month in which the process of Online Admission Form commences.
  • Out of the balance seats. 25% seats with in each list (list ‘A’ and List ‘B’, i.e. under both Home State/ UT and Other States/ UT), are reserved for children of service personnel including ex-servicemen (Defence category).
  • The remaining seats are reserved for children belonging to General category under both Home State/ UT (List ‘A’) and Other States/ UT (List ‘B’).
  • In “Other States/ UT quota, seats will be allotted in each category as per merit, subject to a maximum limit of 25% of vacancies in the category for any State or Union Territory.
  • For example, if there are 10 seats in Other States/UT General Category not more than 3 seats will be allotted to any one State, i.e. 25% of 10 or 2.5 rounded off to 3.
  • In Class VI of each Sainik School, 10% of the total vacancies or 10 seats Whichever is more, are reserved for girls.

Exam Pattern For Admission In Sainik Schools :

  • The mode of exam will be paper pen test conducted on OMR based system which will have Multiple Choice Questions.
  • The medium of examination for Class VI will be English and Hindi, but for Class IX it will be only English.

Registration Fees For Examination :

  • The online registration fee will be Rs.400/- for SC/ST category and Rs.550/- for others.
  • No offline prospectus or application will be sold and accepted in the school.
  • The school does not patronise any coaching institute or agent and the entrance will be strictly as per the merit in the entrance test and the medical fitness of the candidates which will be a proper selection.
