List Of Approved New Sainik Schools 2022 All States | Download – The Ministry of Defence has approved setting up of 21 new Sainik Schools in partnership with NGOs/Private Schools/State Governments. These schools will be set up in the early stages of the government’s initiative to set up 100 new Sainik Schools across the country in partnership mode. They will be different from the existing military schools.
The objective behind The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of setting up 100 new Sainik Schools, is to provide quality education to the students in line with the National Education Policy and provide them with better career opportunities including joining the Armed Forces. It also gives the private sector an opportunity to work hand in hand with the government towards nation building by refining today’s youth to become responsible citizens of tomorrow.
The State/UT-wise list of 21 sanctioned new Sainik Schools is enclosed and can also be seen on sainikschool.ncog.gov.in, out of which 17 schools are brownfield running schools and 4 are Greenfield schools which are going to be operational shortly. While the NGOs/Trusts/Societies have 12 sanctioned new schools, 6 private schools and 3 state government Sainik Schools, which are purely residential in nature, 7 new Sainik Schools are day schools and 14 such newly sanctioned schools have residential arrangements.
