Pinarayi Vijayan, who has been sworn in as chief minister for the second time, has inducted 20 new faces into his cabinet. The CPI(M) state committee appointed Pinarayi Vijayan as part leader of the party, paving the way for him to be made chief minister for the second consecutive term. The CPI(M) has elected MB Rajesh as the Speaker of the Kerala Assembly and K K Shailaja as the party whip.
